• Interesting Times - Glass and other Fusings

Well we're beginning the run up to Christmas. I've already sold some Christmas decorations and have more in the kiln as we speak. It’s got to be done.... Good to have some new orders from the people who bought in Harrogate way back in April. And even better to be pushed along into making some different designs and colour schemes. First photos should hit the website soon.

The other week I sold on of my new 'Fractale' designs which are intended for the garden but have been well like for the home too. I must make some more and I intend to have a range of them for the BCTF next year. There will also be a few other new bits but don’t want to jump the gun on those yet.

There is an optimistic feeling in the air about Christmas this year and I am looking forward to finding out if I have got into Hand Made in Handbridge and the St Georges Hall fair in Liverpool.

I was disappointed to hear about the negative attitude of some Wilmslow traders to the Artisan Markets. So what if Waitrose see a drop in takings on one Saturday a month. Many of the local traders do really well out of it and the town buzzes. We need this type of event to continue and grow. It would be a shame to see it moved to a Sunday.
