• Into 2015....

This time last week I collected my work form Huyton Gallery after the end of the biennial ‘Crafted’ exhibition. This promotes work by Merseyside artists and is a selling exhibition with some work being shown in Knowsley Sport centre. I was really pleased to collect money for sales too. I hope everybody enjoys having my work in their life. Very pleased to have sold a ‘Mono Fractacle’.

As a member of the CGS(Contemporary Glass Society) I have had a picture of one of my Fractale’ included in an online exhibition - http://www.cgs.org.uk/exhibitions/strike-balance .

I have also recently approached Crosby Educational Trust with a view to volunteering to do a bit of teaching with them.

The only ‘show’ I am signed up for at the moment is The Big Art Show in Shrewsbury - http://www.thebigartshow.co.uk/ but I hope to exhibit in a few other places this year. I am not routinely standing at local fairs.

As a director of Southport Contemporary Arts group I am involved in the launching of a new Southport Festival. SCA Arts Trail will be a feature of this and we hope to have an Arts Fair again this year, but this time we can twist the arm of the local council via the main Southport Festival organisers. This year will be a slow build but watch out for big names in 2016.

I am developing some new garden sculptures so watch out for them. Other developments will be along the lines of Textiles, Ceramics and Willow work!
